Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Effective October 1, 2011 our group has left the full-time faculty at The St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospitals Center. We will, however, retain our clinical privileges at St. Luke’s - Roosevelt and be available to provide arrhythmia care at that institution when requested by any of our local physicians or those in the New York metropolitan region.
We have also completed negotiations with a new strategic partner who shares our vision and priorities of a model clinical and academic arrhythmia program. Specifically, we will be creating the Arrhythmia Institute of the Valley Health System. The name of our practice will be Arrhythmia and Cardiology Consultants of New York and New Jersey and reflect our commitment to physicians and patients across the metropolitan New York region. We plan to remain academically affiliated with Columbia University.
The new office will be located at 5 Columbus Circle (formerly 1790 Broadway, between 57th and 58th Streets), New York, NY 10019 in a superb location on the 15th floor overlooking Central Park and Columbus Circle. The new phone number is 212-HEART-DR (212-432-7837). The practice will continue to see patients at Valley Hospital, 223 Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450 with a new phone number of 201-HEART-DR (201-432-7837). The practice anticipates moving to a dedicated arrhythmia facility for our NJ patients just off the Valley campus in a few months.
