Testimonials from our patients
We have successfully treated hundreds of patients throughout the tri-state area and are happy to share with you some of their thoughts on our quality care we have provided to them and their families.
Dear Jonathan,
I want to express my deep appreciation to you and your wonderful team for giving me back my athletic life. As you know, the ablation appears to be a complete success.
I have been around academic medicine for a long time, and to find a group of patient-oriented people that you have in your team is a rarity. Please extend my appreciation to all, Dr. Shah, Pat, Joie, and James. I felt that everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable.
Best wishes for a happy holiday and new year.
Tony
Dear Dr. Steinberg,
You performed a Catheter Ablation on me December 7, 1999 and I saw you for follow up in January. I thanked you then but I think I was not completely convinced this was a permanent cure. However, now six months later, I can't express to you how pleased I am with the results. I am completely normal, never think about what my heart is doing, and I lead an active life with lots of exercise. It was the wisest choice I ever made.
Gratefully,
Janet Wo

Dear Dr. Ehlert and Dr. Steinberg,
I can't tell you how happy you've made me and my family. I know this is a miracle and you've made it come true. Since I came home Wednesday not an hour has gone by that I haven't thanked God for answering my prayers and for allowing you to use your extreme intelligence and competence to cure me. If it wasn't for you I'd still be living a semi-miserable life. I pray that God always blesses you and makes you and your family as happy as I am!
Sincerely,
Teresa C.

Dear Dr. Steinberg,
I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know its been three months since my second ablation and I am doing great. I have not had any extra beats of any kind, and I cannot tell you how thrilling that is! After 43 years of constant problems, meeting you and having you do the ablations has been like winning the lotto for me. God bless you.
Thanks,
Cora A.
Dear Dr. Steinberg,
I have been writing this note since 12/25/03, but it's the first time that I have put my thoughts on paper.
I just want to say thank you to you and your excellent staff for taking good care of me as usual. People are always asking me How I'm doing and I tell them I'm doing well, I feel that now is the time to let you know that I am doing quite well. Your staff always makes me feel comfortable and at ease. They also make me feel like they know me as a person and not just another patient. I still get moments of anxiety whenever I feel activity in my chest. I haven't felt like my device was going to go off, but I have had some anxious moment. I think the activity is caused by heartburn or a cold, but I'm afraid to take any medication for fear that my heart will start to race. I am walking farther everyday and I'm also increasing my speed. I would like who may have been interning and you never spoke down to them to know if I could do some sort of low impact aerobics.
Dr. Steinberg you have been my idol since I was in the AVID program. I've heard you speak to other doctors who may have been interning and you never spoke down to them. You almost made me feel like I knew what you were talking about. I wish you and your staff continued success. I hope that I never have to see you again on a professional basis, but if I do I know that I will be taken care of by the best physician and staff in the business.
Thank you again for all that you have done.
Peace and Blessings,
Lawrence Mines
Dear Dr. Steinberg,
I want to express my thanks to you and your operating room team for restoring my health. Before the surgery, I became exhausted from the atrial fibrillation to the point that the quality of my life was suffering badly.
I am now full of life and energy thanks to the great job you did on my heart.
I will always be grateful that you were able to help me. I also want to compliment St. Luke's Hospital on being one of the best on the East Coast.
Thanks again,
Mr. Jefferson Woodcox
Dr. Steinberg & Staff,
Thank you so much for getting me in as soon as possible. You have given
me my life back! I no longer have to worry!!
Everyone has been extremely pleasant and my stay here was a joy.
Thank you,
Courtney Hennessy and Family
Dr. Steinberg,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for making my ablation procedure so easy. I have to admit that I was nervous going into the procedure and then when there was the delay due to the problem wit the x-ray machine, I became a little more nervous. But, your empathy, concern and professionalism eased my anxiety and I deeply appreciate your extra effort to ensure that the procedure would take place that day.
I would also like to commend Dr. Sichrovsky and the ablation lab head nurse, Sue. Dr Sichrovsky's manner and knowledge eased my concerns and she was so very thorough in explaining what would happen during the procedure. Sue and Dr. Sichrovsky make a superb team. Also, Sue, the lab head nurse, made me feel like we had known each other for years. Her competency and caring manner made me feel very safe and that under her watch, I would receive the very best care.
I consider myself lucky to have been able to have my ablation done by you. It is not often that a person is able to have one of the world's best, if not the best, physicians handle his procedure. I have to admit that the abalation procedure was more involved and complicated than I had imagined prior to the procedure. But any anxiety that I had was quickly gone for I knew I was in the hands of the very best. Thank you for that priceless gift.
Cordially,
James Spring
